Direct boat trips between Akranes and Reykjavík

 Direct boat trips between Reykjavik and Akranes, a small town on the West coast of Iceland will begin on June 1st and take place until October 1st. 

The Reykjavik City Council accepted a proposal yesterday for a ferry for 50 - 100 passengers to sail between the two places and if it's a successful venture it will be prolonged for a year.
