People warned to tie down loose objects before storm
Hurricane force winds passing over South and West Iceland wi begin with a bang tomorrow morning.
Meterologist Þorsteinn Jónsson at the Iceland Met Office says the worst of the weather will be on the West Coast, Reykjanes and Snæfellsnes.
Reykjavik will also see some pretty strong winds and heavy rain.
Windspeeds on Reykjanesbraut could become dangerous and the wind in Reykjanes of up to 28 m/s could cause disturbances to international flights.
People are advised to clear drains and to tie up loose objects in gardens or on balconies.
