WOW air announces new Bristol service
Tickets sales are now open for the latest new destination on offer from Icelandic low-cost airline WOW air – Bristol, UK.
Flights begin on 13 May 2016, with a thrice-weekly service between Iceland and Bristol all year round. WOW air becomes the second airline to link Bristol to Iceland with a direct service, after British airline easyJet.
Bristol is a large city in South-West England with an economy built on the creative media, electronics and aerospace industries. It is the United Kingdom’s eight most populous city, with just under 450,000 inhabitants, and the first British city to be named European Green Capital (2015).
WOW air passengers will fly into Bristol Airport (BRS), which is currently undergoing a £24 million (approx. ISK 4.8 billion) overhaul to achieve a capacity of 10 million passengers a year by 2016.
