43% more passengers in July 2015

Icelandic low-cost airline WOW air flew more passengers in July 2015 that in its entire first year of operations in 2012.
Some 104,000 passengers flew to or from Iceland with WOW air last month, up 43% on July 2014. Passenger load factors in July this year were 90%.
“The airline has grown enormously,” explains founder and CEO of WOW air Skúli Mogensen, “and we are very grateful for the wonderful reception we have been given from day one.”
WOW air currently flies to twenty destinations in Europe and North America and operates six jets of the Airbus A319/20/21 family.
