New signs made to deter defecating tourists
Tourists to Iceland this summer seem to be leaving more behind than just dollars and euros. Recent reports of tourists include camping in parking lots and public buildings without much care to the environment around them. Today's reports of tourists going to the toilet on graves in cemetaries or at Gullfoss waterfall have resulted in Icelandic sign factory Ferró to make up a new sign, shown in the accompanying photograph.
