Iceland earthquakes – LIVE FEED
Budding seismologists may enjoy monitoring the skelfir.is website, which gives a live feed of eartquakes in Iceland as they enter the computer system of the Icelandic Met Office.
The map as it currently looks clearly shows the recent wave of tremors off the coast of south-west Iceland, which Iceland Monitor reported on earlier this week.
According to Earthquake Hazards Coordinator at the Icelandic Met Office, Kristín Jónsdóttir, magma eruptions caused by the increased seismic activity cannot be ruled out.
