New restaurant opens above Bónus on Laugavegur

A new restaurant, Nostra,will be opening at the end of the month in the Kjörgarður complex at the top of Laugavegur shopping street.
The founders of Nostra are Natascha Fischer and her wife Arna Waage and the restaurant is set to become a foodie paradise, as many of the chefs working there have experience working in Michelin restaurants.
Nostra wll be focusing on menus that offer four, six or nine small courses and seats up to 70 people, as well as 20 people in the cocktail bar called Artson (which is of course the name written backwards).
Fischer says that the people behind Nostra are experienced in the restaurant business in Iceland and that they focuse on great quality and great service. Their chefs formerly worked at restaurants Estela, Noma and Dill. "We aim to offer a unique experience and to become one of the best restaurants in Scandinavia," adds Fischer.
