Disgraced ex PM's strange appetites

Former Prime Minister Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson, MP for the Progressive Party caused an internet sensation in Iceland yesterday for his photograph of raw mince meat on a water cracker which he posted on his Facebook page. 

The caption next to the photograph says, "One of the best qualities of Icelandic meat is that you don't have to cook it if you don't want to."

Gunnlaugsson is known for his interest in traditional Icelandic food.  He is opposed to the import of fresh meat to Iceland on accounts of foreign meat possibly being diseased.  

Whether the water biscuit is Icelandic as well has not been revealed.
