The Sonics and Digable Planets headline astounding off-venue programme at KEX Hostel

The annual off-venue programme at Kex Hostel presented in cooperation with KEXP, Iceland Naturally and Iceland Airwaves takes place every night this week with incredible bands playing and ADMISSION FREE!
Among the many highlights of the programme are veterans of garage-rock, The Sonics, who had a great come back album fifty years after their rise to fame, in the mid 1960's. Another blast from the past is 90's New York hip hop band Digable Planets.
The Icelandic bands playing at Kex Hostel include Mammút, Samaris, Singapore Sling, Gangly and Hatari. All performances are broadcasted live on radio station KEXP in Seattle.
All of the concerts are open to the public free of charge but keep in mind that the venue is likely to get pretty full so admission is ona first come first serve basis.
