Art fair in city centre on Saturday
Organisers of Bernhöfts Bazaar, Þórey Björk Halldórsdóttir and Laufey Jónsdóttir.
The last Bernhöfts Bazaar market of the summer takes place tomorrow in the city centre. This week's theme is art, and a number of well known Icelandic artists are selling drawing and paintings at the stalls.
The bazaar is a project organised by Laufey Jónsdóttir and Þórey Björk Halldórsdóttir and takes place in front of the old Bernhöftstorfa building at the corner of Laugavegur and Lækjargata.
The artists taking part are Ziska, Erin Honeycutt, Harpa Björnsdóttir, Jónbjörn Finnbogason, Kamile Dambrauskaite, Laufey Jónsdóttir, Lára Garðarsdóttir, Ólafur Þór Kristinsson, Rakel Jónsdóttir, Sigríður Á Guðmundsdóttir, Viktor Weisshappel Vilhjálmsson and Þórður Grímsson.
As usual, lobster soup, white wine, beer and soft drinks will be on offer and DJ's keep the atmosphere lively. The market starts at one pm and takes place until 6 pm.
