Architect and interior designer Kjartan Óskarsson won the LaunchPad award at the international WantedDesign conference in New York. Kjartan designed three lights based on the idea of creating a personal connection between light and user.

He showed two main lighting concepts: HALO, an interactive light (two options) where the user turns the light itself to dim or turn on/off. Forester was an LED lighting group in copper inspired by a forest of trees. The pipes are linked to the base by a bearing ball mounted in the base so that the user can move the arms around to play or arrange the light.
