Two women infected with HIV
Sources of Morgunblaðið confirm that two of the women involved with the man arrested yesterday have tested positive for the HIV virus.
According to Morgunblaðið sources, two women have been diagnosed with HIV and over a dozen more are awaiting results in the case where a man was arrested yesterday on the suspicion of infecting them.
The matter came up recently and police yesterday arrested a man, said to be of foreign extraction, on suspicion of deliberately infecting young women in Iceland with HIV.
