Iceland left out in the cold

The world has never been warmer, according to meteorologists, but – at least for 2015 – Iceland is one of the few exceptions to the rule.

According to news provider AFP, of the first eight months of this year, temperature records have been broken in six of them.

Icelandic meteorologist Trausti Jónsson explains that, which word temperatures have never been higher, there are always ‘cold patches’. As it happens, Iceland was involved in one of those cold patches this summer…
