Icelandair has announced the opening of a new route from Iceland to Montreal, Canada, commencing May 2016.
Montreal is the largest city in the French-speaking Canadian province of Quebec and the second largest city in Canada.
Flights from Iceland to Montreal will take around five hours and will be operated four times a week – on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – from May to November next year.
Montreal is Icelandair’s fifth scheduled destination in Canada after Halifax, Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver, and tickets are available now.
