Nova is now on the main Nasdaq Iceland Stock Exchange

The telecommunication company Nova in Iceland went public on the main Nasdaq Icelandic Stock Exchange today. The company is the 46 th company to go public on the Nasdaq Nordic markets this year.

“Nova is a leading company in telecommunications in Iceland and currently has 33% share of the market and 60% of data usage through mobile networks. Their clientele are individuals, homes and small and middle sized progressive companies in Iceland,” is announced in a press release from Nova.

“Our slogan: “The biggest entertainment venue in the world” captures the spirit of the company, when it comes to the company’s culture and it encourages innovation and entrepreneurship. For thirteen years Nova has been the leading telecommunication company when it comes to customer satisfaction.”

In the announcement Margrét Tryggvadóttir the CEO and Entertainment Manager of Nova says that the staff of the company is excited about this new step in the company’s future.

“We are very grateful over the positive reception our share offering and welcome all our new shareholders to the Nova Club, the biggest entertainment venue in the world,” Tryggvadóttir says.

In the announcement Magnús Harðarson, the CEO of Nasdaq Iceland welcomes Nova to the main market of Nasdaq.

“We congratulate everyone at Nova and look forward to helping them on their new journey.”
