Photos: Iceland strikes for the climate
On Friday, students and other members of the public went on a climate strike for the third consecutive time. The turn out on Friday was the largest yet.
The strike is inspired by Swedish teenage activist Greta Thunberg and such strikes are taking place all over the world to protest the lack of action taken by governments in the fight against climate change.
The accompanying photographs are taken of the strike in Reykjavik but students in Akureyri also went on strike on Friday.
