Young people in Iceland are joining young people in over 1200 internationpal cities every Friday at noon to go on strike for the climate.

Tomorrow is the fourth such strike and is inspired by Greta Thunbergs initiative who will, on March 15th, have gone on climate strike for thirty weeks. Over twelve thousand scientists and scholars have signed a declaration of support for the strikes.

Tomrrow, strikers will gather at noon in front of Hallgrímskirkja church in Reykjavik and walk towards Austurvöllur parliament square. In Akureyri in North Iceland the strike is also betwen noon and 1 pm and takes place at Ráðhústorgið.

Last Friday over 400 people, most of them schoolchildren, gathered at Austurvöllur.
