Icelandic PM calls Cameron a "Godfather"
"I've been called a lot of things but not this before," said British PM David Cameron at the opening of the Northern Future Forum which began this morning at Grand Hotel in Reykjavik.
Icelandic PM Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson was the first speaker at the conference, which has taken place annually since 2011 at the initiative of Cameron. Gunnlaugsson therefore spoke of him as being " The Godfather of the conference,"which amused Britain's Prime Minister.
Over 80 experts from Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania and Britain participate in discussions at the conference along with the Prime Ministers from all of those countries. More information and live streams from the conference can be seen HERE.
