Most Icelanders are happy with the Icelandic government’s announced plan for lifting capital controls, according to a new Gallup opinion poll.
71% of respondents indicated that they were happy with the plan, while just over 4% said they were unhappy. The rest had no strong feelings on the matter.
However, when asked how well up they actually were on the details of the plan itself, a total of 44% admitted that they had little, very little or no knowledge of the plan.
