Fifth week of music teacher strike

The Icelandic teacher's union is organising a solidarity event today to support music teachers in their strike at Harpa concert hall and conference centre. Members of the music teacher association have been on strike since October 22nd.
A variety of artists will perform at the event which takes place in Norðurljós hall at 5 p.m and several speakers will address the attendees.
There are 89 active music schools in Iceland.
