Eight-month old waiting for heart surgery
The doctors' strike is causing numerous operations to be postponed and among those whose planned surgical procedure might be postponed if doctors and the state do not reach an agreement, is an eight-month old girl. Little Ásdís Bjargey Bjarkadóttir has a heart defect and will need cardiac catheterization.
