Remnants of hurricane Erin to reach Iceland tomorrow
A high-pressure system is over the North Sea, while a low lies to the west and southwest of Iceland, steering warm and humid air toward the country today.
According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office, this will bring southerly and southeasterly moderate to fresh winds, with strong breezes and rain in some areas. Continuous rainfall is expected in Southeast Iceland for much of the day.
Temperatures will range from 13 to 22°C.
This evening, winds and rainfall will ease, but tomorrow the remnants of Hurricane Erin are forecast to arrive.
Strong easterly winds with rain are expected, though conditions north of the highlands will generally be calmer and brighter.
