Shots fired inside hotel room in Reykjavík

A firearm was discharged inside a hotel room in Reykjavík last night.

Police arrested five individuals, and the weapon was confiscated. The case is currently under investigation.

There was a significant police presence on Tryggvagata in downtown Reykjavík during the evening. Police closed off the street, and members of the special forces were seen entering the luxury hotel Black Pearl to apprehend a suspect, as shown in the accompanying video footage.
