Lilja Sif Pétursdóttir crowned Miss Supranational Europe 2025
Lilja Sif Pétursdóttir, Iceland's representative in the international beauty pageant Miss Supranational 2025, was crowned Miss Supranational Europe in Poland this evening—one of the competition’s most prestigious titles. She also received the title of Miss Photogenic 2025, awarded to the contestant who performs best in front of the camera.
The pageant took place last Friday at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland, where contestants from more than 60 countries competed. Lilja first advanced to the top 24, then to the final 12, and ultimately secured the Miss Supranational Europe 2025 title, making her the official European ambassador of the competition.
Not her first victory
Pétursdóttir previously gained recognition as Miss Iceland 2023 and for her participation in Miss Universe. With her outstanding stage presence, natural charisma, and professionalism, she has captured the admiration of both judges and audiences around the world.
“I’m at a loss for words. This is an incredible honor, and I’m endlessly grateful for the support I’ve received from people across the globe. I hope this inspires other young women to pursue their dreams,” said Pétursdóttir.
“A victory for her, for all of us, and for Iceland”
In attendance at the event was Manuela Ósk Harðardóttir, director and owner of Miss Iceland, along with most of the Icelandic team.
“This is an indescribable moment. Lilja has poured her heart and soul into this journey, and she’s shown that Icelandic strength shines through on the international stage. We are incredibly proud of her—this is a victory for her, for all of us, and for Iceland,” said Harðardóttir.
With this achievement, Pétursdóttir secures a prominent place in the global pageant community and is set to participate in various international events, charity projects, and promotional work on behalf of Miss Supranational in the coming months.
