City councilors meet again to form a majority

Samsett mynd

City councilors from five parties will meet soon or are already meeting to form a majority in the city council. This is reported by sources at mbl.is.

The parties in question are the People's Party, the Pirate Party, the Social Democratic Alliance, the Left Greens, and the Socialist Party.

The city councilors discussed the issues with their respective parties yesterday before a new meeting was called today. It is not clear where the representatives will meet, but it is likely not at Reykjavík City Hall.

All council meetings have been canceled, but the parties have six days to form a new majority before the city council meets again next Tuesday.
