A swim on Christmas Eve is a rich tradition for many.
Some go to relax and get rid of the most Christmas stress in the tubs and steam, while others want to swim their meters to make room in the nutritional book for the Christmas roast. Still others take the children and use the showers for the Christmas shower.
A few people were waiting this morning
The staff of Seltjarnarneslaug swimming pool opened the doors to pool guests at 8 am this morning and several guests were waiting on the parking lot, as there is a great tradition for the Christmas swim at Seltjarnarneslaug, according to the staff.
There was quite a lot to do in the pool, according to the receptionist, who said that pool guests were of all ages. Everything went without a major incident, but it was mainly the wind and snow that played a little into the atmosphere, according to the employee.
"It was a little colder than people would have liked, but everything went well."
