A tourist found dead in the Blue Lagoon

A foreign tourist in his 80s died after losing consciousness in the Blue Lagoon yesterday evening.

The emergency services were called out at seven o'clock last night, and the lagoon was closed to guests.

CPR efforts began immediately at the scene, but the man was pronounced dead about an hour later.
