Fatal accident two years ago

A fatal accident occurred in Brúará in 2022, when a man jumped after his son who had fallen into the river. The father managed to push his son to the bank where other tourists grabbed him, but the current took the father and carried him down the river where he died. Was the man a Canadian citizen.

Last year, a person also fell into the river. He was airlifted to the hospital, but his condition was listed.
