Looking for more polar bears
The Coast Guard's helicopter is on its way to check if more polar bears can be found in the country.
According to Ásgeir Erlendsson, the Coast Guard's information representative, the helicopter was supposed to leave at 10 am. for Ísafjörður. It will pick up a policeman there and they will fly over Hornstrandir and other fjords.
There have been no indications of more polar bears in the country.
The helicopter is expected to return to Reykjavík later today.
