Laufey nominated for a VMA Award

Musician Laufey Lín Jónsdóttir has been nominated for the MTV VMA awards ceremony in New York City on September 11th.

Laufey won the Grammy for Bewitched

The festival honors the best music videos, artists, and songs of the year, and Laufey’s song, Goddess, has been nominated in a category called “PUSH Performance of the Year”. All eleven musicians are nominated in the category, having participated in MTV’s so-called PUSH campaign during the year.

Laufey‘s debut year began with a big hit, and she won a Grammy for her album Bewitched. Since then, she’s been touring the world, playing with world-famous names from the music scene.
