Announcing a strong entry of Starbucks in Iceland
Berjaya Food International (BFI) has secured the operating rights to open and operate a Starbucks coffee shop in Iceland.
BFI is the international arm of the Malaysian company Berjaya Food Berhad (BFood).
The company plans big things in the Nordic countries, and together with Iceland, the company has secured the right to operate Starbucks in Denmark and Finland, according to an announcement from the company.
"We will make a strong entry in Iceland, Denmark, and Finland," says the announcement.
It also says that emphasis will be placed on hiring local people for the jobs that will be created and on trading with companies in the countries where the cafes will operate.
