The actor and presidential candidate, Jón Gnarr, no longer has his hair, as it was shaved yesterday. His son, Jón Gnarr jr., a new student from MS, shaved his dad’s hair from at their home in the western part of Reykjavík yesterday.
“Well, my Nonni. Now the president’s fight is over. Shouldn’t we just get on with it,” Jón Gnarr told his son, who got an electric razor and shaved off all of his father’s hair.
Jón Gnarr plays the role of Felix in the TV series Felix and Klara and has a big wig in his role. He was sporting his hair during the campaign, but as soon as it was over, he let his hair go. It’s so hot to have a lot of hair under the wig he needs to use for the role.
Ragnar Bragason directs Felix and Klara and Edda Björgvinsdóttir plays the other main role opposite Jón. Ragnar Bragason and Jón Gnarr have worked together a lot in the past, but their best-known work is probably the Night Shift series where Jón Gnarr played the role of Georg Bjarnfreðsson.
The filming of Felix and Klara began on April 23 and runs through July 19. Filming dates are long, 12 hours per day, and are filmed in the capital area. That means that Jón Gnarr has had long days during the presidential campaign.
It’s safe to say that every day with Jón Gnarr offers something unexpected and fun.
