“The lows of yesterday are moving west to Greenland” a meteorologist at the Icelandic Met Office says in his thoughts on the Met Office’s website.

In the morning, however, the west is still quite windy, but otherwise the wind is usually in the range of 5-10 m/s.

Today will bring clouds in parts and mostly dry conditions, but with low-level rain in the southeast and mostly clear skies in the northeast.

“The lows brought warm air, so high temperatures are expected, especially as the sun is shining and temperatures could rise to 20 degrees in the northeast,” a meteorologist writes, “and temperatures will therefore be between 8 and 20 degrees.

Tomorrow morning, the southeast is set to turn rather calm, with low-level winds and temperatures ranging from 8 to 16 degrees, but still bright and temperatures reaching 20 degrees in the northeast.
