Inflation goes up again
Twelve-month inflation is currently at 8%. The Consumer Price Index, based on prices in September 2023, is at 599.9 points.
The inflation rate increased by 0.35% between months.
This is consistent with the forecasts of analysts who predicted that inflation would be measured in the 7.8 to 8% range.
Prices of clothes and shoes rose by 3.7%. Cost of living in a home owned building increased by 0.9%. Prices of air fares to foreign countries decreased by 10.6%.
