The crime Story Reykjavík by Katrín Jakobsdóttir and Ragnar Jónasson continues to receive praise in major media.

The book was most recently featured in the New York Times and the New York Post and had previously been laden with praise in major media in Britain and the other Nordic countries.

Reykjavík is “seamlessly plotted, with terrific characters and plenty of surprising, earned twists,” says Sarah Weinman, a New York Times critic, over the weekend, choosing the book as one of the four most interesting crime novels to be published in the US in September.

Then the New York Post chose Reykjavík as one of the six best books of the week, and in the lead-up to the summer edition, critic Kirkus Review wrote: “This book would have pleased Agatha Christie.”
