The highest earner in Iceland
Haraldur Ingi Þorleifsson, founder of design agency Ueno and former employee of the US tech giant Twitter, now X, is the highest earner in Iceland, according to a review by Frjáls verslun.
Þorleifsson had a monthly income of about ISK 46 million last year.
This is reported on vb.is, but you can get the Free Trade Income Paper here. It states that there is a taxable income in 2022. It does not have to reflect the person’s fixed salary.
After retiring from Twitter, Þorleifsson has opened a restaurant, published his own music, and has been responsible for building better infrastructure for wheelchair users.
