Pictures and footage from Reykjavik Pride
Páll Óskar or Paul Oscar was well received in Hljómskálagarður at Reykjavík Pride. Large crowds of people were in Hljómskálagarðurinn after leaving Hallgrímskirkja at two in the day for the parade. The weather could not have been better with sunshine and not a cloud in the sky.
The parade ended on Skothúsvegur at Hljómskálagarður, where a spectacular outdoor concert by Paul Oscar took place.
Glimmer and grill parties
A variety of entertainment was in the town yesterday. Glimmer and karaokee at Nova’s streetball court as well as the Association ‘78 held a grill party at its premises on Suðurgata 3. Paul Oscar then entertained at Gamla bíó that evening.
The celebration is a highlight of the Queer Days, which brings lesbians, gays, bisexuals, pansexuals, transgender people, intersex people, and other queer people together with their families and friends to confirm their existence and remind people of their issues.
