Restrictions on drones in the red zone

The police of the capital area reminds people of the existing restrictions on the flight of drones/remote-controlled aircraft to the area marked in red in the picture above. A lot of people will be in the downtown area because of the Pride Parade and many streets in the vicinity of Laugavegur are cosed for all car traffic.

The restrictions regarding drones can be found in Article 12 of the Regulation on the operation of remotely piloted aircraft, but police specifically remind them that drones/remotely piloted aircraft must not be flown over crowded areas.
