Where to Get Rapid Antigen Tests for Events
New and stricter disease prevention rules took effect in Iceland Friday night, requiring people to present the negative results of a rapid antigen test before attending large events.

If you’re planning to attend a large event, you need to know where rapid test are offered. They are free of charge.
According to a list from the Ministry of Health, those are available at health clinics nationwide.

In Reykjavík, rapid tests are offered at the following health clinic:
- The Capital Area Health Clinic, Suðurlandsbraut 34
Private companies offer rapid tests at the following locations in Reykjavík:
- BSÍ bus terminal,
- Harpa concert hall
- Kringlan (across the street from Kringlan shopping center)
- Kleppsmýrarvegur road
Outside the capital area, private companies offer rapid tests at the following locations:
In Reykjanesbær, Southwest Iceland:
- Aðalgata 60
In Akureyri, North Iceland:
- University of Akureyri
