The Icelandic airline Play has added two destinations in Spain to its flight schedule for next summer, mbl.is reports. Those are Palma, Mallorca and Malaga. Flights will be scheduled once a week to both destinations — on Wednesdays to Palma, Mallorca, and on Sundays to Malaga.

The airline already offers service to other Spanish destinations: Barcelona, Tenerife, Alicante and Gran Canaria.

Birgir Jónsson, CEO of Play, states there is much demand for flights to Spain. Icelanders enjoy traveling there and Spaniards are interested in traveling to Iceland as well.

“The new destinations are just as exciting as the others. Those are real paradise cities, and we look forward to flying Icelanders, eager to see the sun, to new destinations,” he states.
