Total Number of COVID-19 Cases: 37
There are now 37 confirmed cases of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus, in Iceland, mbl.is reports. All of the cases can be traced to Trentino, northern Italy, or the Ischgl ski area in Austria, where the infected individuals traveled. The first case was confirmed February 28.
According to the Facebook page of the Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management, the people diagnosed are aged 44-67, and none of them is seriously ill.
Altogether, 368 samples have been analyzed, and close to 400 people are in quarantine in their homes.
