Iceland beat Macedonia 24:22

 "I could have written the script to this match beforehand," says team captain Aron Pálmarsson to mbl.is after the win against Macedonia in the Handball World Cup group B finals yesterday in Munich. 

The win secured Iceland a position in the main round at the championships with eleven other teams. 

"The Macedonias played a particularly disciplined game and kept the speed down as much as they could. And then they, almost without exception had seven on the attack, it was all by the book and I felt we had answers to everything," said Pálmarsson.
