Fire in Hafnarfjörður

A great fire occurred at Hvaleyrarbraut in Hafnarfjörður last night. Fire fighters battled the fire to no avail and the building burned to the ground.

The fire which occurred in a window and door making factory was reported at 22:12 last night. Over 60 fire fighters were working at the scene at around 1 am last night and this morning at 7 am sixteen fire fighters were still battling the rest of the fire.
