Plenty of Sunshine Today

So far this summer, the weather map for Iceland has rarely, if ever, included as much sunshine as today. Enjoy it while it lasts. Tomorrow, clouds will be moving in again, to all but the northeast region.
The Icelandic Met Office forecasts sunny skies for most of Iceland today. There will be northerly or variable winds of 3-8 m/sec. Mostly sunny skies in the west, but cloudy and occasional showers in the far east.
Tomorrow, we’ll have winds from the south or variable winds of 3-10 m/sec. Sunny in many parts of the country, but turning cloudy in the south and west, where rain will develop tomorrow night.
Today’s temperatures will be between 10 and 18 degrees C (50-64 degrees F), with the warmest readings in the south today, but in the northeast tomorrow.
