Whale hunting vessels prepared for sea

The whale hunting season is about to bein and on Wednesday, whale hunting ship Hvalur 8 was prepared for sea at Reykjavik harbour. 

Workers are washing, painting and checking the vessel before it heads out for the first whale hunting trip.  The second vessel, Hvalur 9 will follow suit. 

Both boats will head out on June 10th.
