Canadian Arctic air causes trouble in Iceland

Icelanders have been unpleasantly surprised by the weather in recent days. People have awoken to their cars covered in snow and bouts of snowfall are accompanied by strong wind and cold temperatures.
Snow at this time of year is not usual in Iceland. It is caused by currents of Arctic air flowing from the western parts of the Canadian arctic.
