Snow in Iceland today
Svona er úrkomunspáin klukkan 6 í fyrramálið. Skjáskot/Veðurstofa Íslands
For those who thought spring had arrived this morning was quite a surprise as a thin layer of snow covered the ground in many parts of Iceland.
The snow has however turned into rain and rain will continue throughout today and tomorrow.
Snow and sleet are expected again on Tuesday.
