SAR teams were called out at noon today when a jeep was stuck traversing the Fiská river in South Iceland. Five passengers were in the vehicle.

The National Coastguard helicopter was called out but then sent back when it was clear that nobody was seriously injured.

An ambulance arrived at the site to attend to the people who were cold and wet and local police say they were very lucky that things didn't turn out for the worse.
