Icelandic President injured after fainting in his bathroom
President Guðni Th. Jóhannesson had an accident last night. On his Facebook page he writes that "as he was enjoying a hot and comfortable bath," he fainted, fell and hurt himself.
He sustained a cut to his forehead and a broken nose. He was transported to the ER in Reykjavik and would like to thank staff there for stitching him up and looking after him. He further adds that he feels fine although his injuries are clearly visible.
