The Icelandic police stopped a bus driving on the nr.1 ring road south of Reykjavik just before midnight last night. The bus was driving 146 km/h. The maximum speed limit in Iceland is 90 km/h.

The bus driver was foreign, according to the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police. His explanation was that the speed would be considered normal in Europe.
